Van der Valk Solar Systems is expanding and is looking for an Account Manager New Business Italy. Are you excited about building new business in a fast-growing market? Do you want to work for a family-owned, innovative and technically driven company with an international footprint and do you enjoy combining commercial success with technical solutions? In this role, you play a key part in growing our presence in the Italian market. You focus on acquiring new customers, developing partnerships and strengthening existing relationships. You will work closely with colleagues in Italy as well as with the Dutch headquarters. While working mainly from a home office, you enjoy being on the road, meeting customers, visiting partners and attending events across Italy.


Your responsibilities

  • Actively acquiring new direct and indirect customers within the Italian solar market.
  • Building and expanding long-term relationships with customers, partners and key stakeholders.
  • Identifying market opportunities and key players within the Italian PV market.
  • Planning and conducting customer visits across Italy.
  • Preparing, presenting and following up on quotations using dedicated engineering software.
  • Providing technical and commercial advice to customers and internal colleagues.
  • Coordinating delivery timelines in close cooperation with purchasing, production and logistics.
  • Managing customers, prospects and quotations accurately in the CRM system.
  • Representing Van der Valk Solar Systems at trade fairs, trainings and customer events.
  • Staying up to date with new products, market developments and internal tools.


We are looking for an ambitious, proactive professional with a strong commercial mindset and a natural interest in technology. Experience in sector is a strong plus.


Personal requirements

  • Experience in a commercial B2B role
  • Strong customer focus and communication skills
  • Technical understanding and solution-oriented mindset
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and ability to work independently
  • Organisational and planning skills
  • IT skills (MS Office, Outlook, CRM systems)
  • Driving licence and willingness to travel within Italy
  • Languages: Italian and English (native or fluent)
