kp is seeking an experienced Account Manager for our Medical Device Business. The role involves representing kp to customers, building strong relationships, and executing sales strategies within Western Europe, including Nordics and UK. The position is remote, preferably based in France or Italy.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities :

  • Develop and manage relationships with existing and new customers to deepen customer engagement.
  • Understand our customers’ business and foster peer-to-peer dialogue across departments such as purchasing, supply chain, quality, operations, engineering, marketing, and business development.
  • Research market, industry, and customer goals to enhance the Relationship Map, focusing on finance, operations, product, and patient acquisition strategies.
  • Gain a working knowledge of the Medical Device market segment, including product portfolios, service offerings, application needs, manufacturing processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Align value propositions with customer needs and identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Build and manage a project pipeline within the CRM system, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Manage your book of business, including OE and OB, with financial acumen.
  • Adjust pricing strategically to maximize profit, supported by sales controlling.
  • Travel as necessary within and outside the territory for customer meetings and marketing events.

Requirements :

  • Commercial or technical education with 4–8 years of experience in selling sophisticated products, preferably in Medical Devices.
  • Knowledge of polymers and related processing methods such as calendaring, extrusion, lamination, etc.
  • Experience designing and executing disciplined sales plans and processes.
  • Effective team communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and Salesforce.com is advantageous.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Financial skills to assess business implications of decisions.
  • Highly organized, self-managed, with excellent time management and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to drive aggressive growth with urgency.
  • Challenger mindset, capable of motivating customers and building constructive relationships.
  • Fluent in English and French; additional languages like Italian or Spanish are a plus. #LI-REMOTE
