Account Executive (permanent position) - SAP Academy for Customer Success - Italy

Responsibilities
Prospect, qualify, sell, and close new business to existing and net‑new customers.
Understand customers’ strategies and business goals, positioning SAP solutions to drive cloud revenue growth.
Complete a 10‑month learn‑apply program that includes classroom phases and field phases with your sales team.
Experience multi‑dimensional, experiential learning focused on digital transformation, global intelligence, human skills, business and technology acumen, solution/industry knowledge, and strategy/tools/process.
Drive value across the customer lifecycle through solution adoption, ongoing renewals, and account expansion.
Receive onboarding in your local market with on‑the‑job training and mentorship from a Senior Account Executive.
Work both behind the scenes and directly with customers, serving as a critical customer‑facing function within our Customer Success Board Area.
Upon successful completion, transition into a direct customer‑facing sales role in your market with continued mentoring and coaching.
Participate in intensive program phases, including practical immersion in San Ramon, California, for up to four weeks.
Qualifications
2–3 years of professional experience in a quota‑carrying sales environment in a technology company or significant exposure to business processes.
Proven ability to generate opportunities, qualify leads, and manage sales pipelines across a defined territory, building strong customer relationships and articulating value propositions.
Cooperative and productive approach to internal and external working relationships.
Strong ability to quickly learn new concepts, adapt to changing environments, and apply knowledge to deliver results.
Understanding of AI fundamentals, uses, and ethics to identify business problems solvable with AI.
Strong business acumen, including demonstrated knowledge of business processes and/or industries.
Proficiency in English to engage with the global network.
Curious and agile mindset with a passion for learning and resilience in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong problem‑solving, project management, and creative thinking skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate ideas clearly and effectively.
Emotional intelligence and cultural awareness that support inclusive teamwork and thoughtful stakeholder engagement.

– Accounting, procurement, and supplier management with a focus on visibility, cost savings, and efficiency.
SAP SuccessFactors (Human Capital Management – HCM)
– Core HR, payroll, talent management, employee experience, HR analytics, workforce planning, and sales performance management.
SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM)
– Supply chain, asset management, manufacturing, logistics, or product and project lifecycle management.
SAP Customer Experience (CX)
– E‑commerce, sales, customer service, and marketing processes.
SAP Business Transformation Management (BTM)
– Business process management and automation applications.
SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) & SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC)
– Database and data management, analytics, application development and integration, intelligent technologies, AI, and understanding of integration, application, data, infrastructure, and security technology domains.
Compensation & Benefits SAP provides an annualized compensation range for this position: €45,000 – €80,000, inclusive of base salary and variable incentive targets. The actual offer will depend on education, skills, experience, and role scope. SAP offers comprehensive benefits and competitive pay.
