Account Executive – Laboratory Solutions in Liguria, Italy

and you will contribute to achieve sales and profit targets within the assigned territory through the promotion and direct sale of Siemens Healthineers Lab Solutions Products.

Your role:

Commercial Strategy & Business Growth

Collaborate closely with the Territory Manager to implement effective commercial strategies, ensuring the achievement of regional sales and profit objectives.

Proactively identify new business opportunities and integrate them into the territory’s long‑term strategic plan.

Gather competitive data and continuously monitor market dynamics to maintain a strong competitive edge.

Sales Funnel & KPI Management

Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) through the CRM platform to track and guarantee sales targets, revenue, profitability, market share, and win rates.

Maintain and update a robust sales opportunity funnel to ensure full market coverage and alignment with customer purchasing cycles.

Leverage retention and conversion plans to identify target opportunities, bridging any financial or qualitative gaps against assigned objectives.

Proposal Development & Deal Execution

Partner with internal teams (Sales Support, HCS, Marketing) to design basic technical and economic proposals, defining target pricing and business models.

Optimize offer configurations, pricing, and contractual terms to ensure best‑in‑class positioning while managing impacts on the P&L.

Drive the execution of the Installed Base (IB) Replacement program, proactively updating systems and products approaching their End of Life.

Customer Excellence & Coordination

Act as the primary internal coordinator for customer activities, aligning with Marketing, Customer Service, Tender Office, Order Entry, and Procurement.

Monitor client satisfaction through periodic Net Promoter Score (NPS) surveys, implementing internal corrective actions when necessary.

Launch targeted initiatives (such as product demos, strategic collaborations, and pricing adjustments) to increase market penetration.

Your expertise:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree (Economics, Engineering, or technical fields) and 3-5 years of proven experience in B2B Sales, Account Management, or Business Development.

Strong proficiency in using CRM tools to manage the sales funnel, analyze KPIs (Revenues, Market Share, Win Rate), and monitor P&L impacts.

Solid background in identifying market opportunities, executing product lifecycle/replacement programs and designing economic proposals.

Excellent ability to coordinate customer activities by aligning with internal functions (Marketing, Customer Service, Tender Office, Procurement).

Proven experience in monitoring client satisfaction (e.g., NPS metrics) and implementing proactive or corrective commercial initiatives.

Outstanding negotiation and communication skills, with fluency in both English and Italian (written and spoken).

The position is regulated by the Chemical-Pharmaceutical National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL Chimico-Farmaceutico), qualifica Impiegato.

The base salary for this position typically ranges from €51.500- 68.500 (RAL). The final offer will be tailored based on your individual skills, experience and specific location.

Performance Bonus: this role is eligible for a variable incentive plan linked to specific achievements (minimum 10%)
