Account Executive Intern – Partner Excellence (Grocery & Retail)

A global food delivery and online marketplace platform is seeking a commercially minded intern to join its Partner Excellence team, supporting grocery and retail partners in driving growth, improving performance, and optimising commercial outcomes.
This role focuses on account management support, data-driven decision-making, partner communication, and operational improvement across a fast-growing grocery and retail segment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support revenue growth through promotional campaigns, upselling, and pricing optimisation for SME partners
- Analyse key performance metrics (e.g., churn, availability, order quality, partner performance)
- Act as a point of contact for partners, supporting commercial and operational improvements
- Use data insights to help improve sales performance and average order value
- Maintain and organise partner data, performance tracking systems, and internal databases
- Support visual content updates (e.g., product images, listings, and partner storefront quality)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on campaign execution and performance analysis
Requirements
- Fluency in Italian and good English communication skills
- Strong analytical mindset with confidence working with data and KPIs
- Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets / Google Workspace
- Strong communication and negotiation potential
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- Basic experience with Canva, Photoshop, or visual content tools
- Interest in e-commerce, food delivery, or retail marketplaces
