Account Executive - for a managed IT service provider seeking an experienced Account Executive with a hunter mentality to help drive the growth and development of the clientele base. Work alongside the VP of Sales to provide best-in-class IT solutions and take control of your earning potential.

- Responsibilities
- Develop, track, and close sales leads through prospecting, leveraging your network, and gaining strategic partnerships.
- Identify prospect requirements including technical needs, infrastructure, configuration, and other requirements; call prospects to find new customers and projects.
- Collaborate with technical staff to generate proposals.
- Confidently present proposals to clients to engage interest in managed services.
- Work with the marketing team to develop seminars, marketing materials, targeted campaigns, and generate qualified leads.
- Qualify opportunities to determine scope of work.
- Manage pipeline and advance opportunities to close independently.
- Leverage networking events, chambers, and groups to promote the brand and build lasting relationships.
- Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience selling to mid-market and enterprise customers in an account executive or sales role, preferably in the tech space with direct MSP experience.
- Ability to identify potential client pain points and offer solutions.
- Ability to target potential clients and book exploratory meetings.
- Proven sales performance, including new business development.
- Willingness and ability to travel for client meetings.
