A2R TAX & ACCOUNTING MANAGER

An opportunity has arisen for a driven tax professional to join the finance team as a Tax and Accounting Manager . This key role involves ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of quarterly tax calculations and risk assessments for the Sanofi Group, as well as meeting all tax compliance obligations and supporting IFRS and statutory financial reporting.

Main Responsibilities

• Implement and align with SBS tax core model.
• Deliver quarterly tax figures for IFRS group reporting.
• Support current tax and tax cash flow planning.
• Ensure SOX and Internal Control Framework compliance.
• Assist tax audits in collaboration with the Head of Account to Report and the Head of Tax.
• Manage non-resident withholding tax obligations.
• Prepare accurate tax computations for ICT returns.
• Process direct tax payments.
• Liaise with the shared service center for Italian VAT and Intrastat reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and manage VAT exemption letters.
• Ensure timely submission of indirect tax returns such as Italian VAT and Withholding Tax.
• Handle transfer pricing matters, including documentation and policy application, in collaboration with the Head of Tax and TP team.
• Prepare CBCR reconciliations.
• Support IFRS and statutory financial reporting preparations.
• Provide ad hoc support to the Head of Tax as needed.

About You

• Minimum 5 years of experience in taxation.
• Proven knowledge of Italian VAT and Tax legislation.
• Understanding of IFRS, especially IAS 12.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proactive, agile mindset.
• Team player.
• Ability to handle high-pressure deadlines.
• Economic Degree or related university background.
