Senior Program Manager, Workforce Planning

We are looking for a Senior Program Manager, Workforce Planning to drive our enterprise‑wide Workforce Planning initiative and support KONE’s ‘Rise to Lead’ strategy under the P&C Direction 2025–2030. This role reports to the Senior Vice President People & Communication, Global Functions & Organizational Effectiveness, and the preferred location is Espoo, Finland or a KONE main frontline office.
Responsibilities and key activities
- Holistic program management for the KONE‑wide Workforce Planning initiative, building a seamless, integrated capability to match demand and supply of talent.
- Gather internal and external insights to define what good looks like for 2030 with the team.
- Specify, agree and lead internal pilots to collect insights, deliver best practices and identify gaps for the next phases of the program.
- Concept the Workforce Planning journey for KONE, including dependencies, roles, KPIs and other key levers.
- Build a clear program structure with phasing, sub‑project definitions, resourcing, governance, etc., and ensure the agreed deliverables for 2026‑2030.
- Actively communicate with business stakeholders, Finance, People & Communications and other relevant parties to co‑create shared understanding and commitment.
- Collaborate through the existing operational organization to create a sustainable and scalable model for workforce planning at KONE.
Required skills and competences
- Demonstrated track record of program management in a global, multi‑country environment.
- Unit HR or relevant experience in different HR expertise areas and people domains, including talent acquisition, learning & development and succession planning.
- Ability to create change stories in fluent English and deliver clear, simple messaging.
- Holistic understanding of corporate processes such as sales & ops planning, sales, supply chain, finance and HR.
- Analytical and strategic thinking to interpret data and build scenarios based on the data.
- Courage to think beyond current practices in anticipation of future AI options.
- Proficiency in workforce analytics and technologies, including AI‑driven solutions.
- Curiosity and a growth mindset to navigate the KONE landscape.
- Business acumen to align workforce planning with business goals.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills to enable impact.
