Senior Investment Analyst - Renewable Energy

International Company specializing in investments in Renewable Energy

We are seeking a Senior Investment Analyst for our Investment Team.

Role Overview

The role involves collaborating with senior colleagues throughout all stages of the investment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Modelling and Analysis:
   • Develop, manage, and analyze financial models for greenfield and operational solar projects across Europe;
   • Perform quarterly, semi-annual, and annual valuation of fund portfolios;
   • Contribute to and review fund valuation models.
2. Investment Support:
   • Assist in preparing and submitting offers on portfolios;
   • Support due diligence processes for M&A activities;
   • Review and negotiate project documentation, including share purchase agreements, power purchase agreements, EPCs, and O&M contracts;
   • Monitor ongoing investment performance.
3. Business Development:
   • Analyze portfolio optimization opportunities;
   • Monitor sector news and industry trends;
   • Research new markets and emerging technologies such as storage;
   • Conduct competitor analysis.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in Investment or Financing;
• BSc or MSc in Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering;
• Knowledge of investment lifecycle, renewable energy, and financial modeling;
• Background in renewable energy;
• Strong financial and analytical skills;
• Excellent communication skills in Italian and English;
• Effective time management;
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Offer Details

Permanent contract with a salary package commensurate with experience and skills.
