Job Title: Sales, BD & Operations Intern (m/f/d)
Location: Remote (Lombardia) or in person in Milan
Duration: 6 months
Start Date: As soon as possible
Language: English and Italian (German, Spanish, or French is a plus)
Compensation : 600-700€ per month + food vouchers (8€ per working day)

Your role: The Founders' right hand
As a Sales, BD & Operations Intern , you’ll work closely with the founders on the core activities that drive Quotabus forward: managing customers, supporting sales, coordinating with bus operators, identifying growth opportunities, and helping us improve and automate our processes. You’ll be exposed to all aspects of startup building. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to understand how an early-stage startup grows from the inside, with direct exposure to sales, operations, product, and strategy..
Sales & Growth
- Support customers throughout the booking process
- Help improve conversion rates and customer communication.
- Support outreach campaigns and partnership development
- Identify and explore new market opportunities, customer segments, strategic partners.
- Analyze performance metrics and propose actionable improvements.
Operations & Process Building
- Set up tools and workflows) to boost efficiency.
- Coordinate with bus companies and transport partners.
- Help manage supplier relationships and operational follow-ups.
- Analyze routes, trip requirements, availability, and operational feasibility.
- Coordinate with tech, design, and external agencies on feature rollouts.
Product & Customer Insights
- Work closely with the product team to identify areas for improvement.
- Help define what can be automated to make Quotabus more scalable.
- Support product testing, QA, and feedback collection.
- Create documentation, internal processes, and customer-facing materials.
- Analyze where we are losing opportunities and propose actionable improvements.
Analytics
- Monitor key sales and operations metrics.
- Help identify patterns in customer requests, lost deals, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Support the creation of dashboards, reports, and operational insights.
- Bring an analytical mindset to improve how we work every day.

- You think like an entrepreneur —structured, resourceful, and outcome-driven.
- You love working on 0-to-1 or 1-10 projects and thrive with ambiguity.
- You speak fluently in English and Italian (bonus if also in French, Spanish, or German).
- You’re analytical but you also feel comfortable with making decisions from incomplete data.
- Ideally you’ve had first work or internship experience.
- You’re passionate about tech, mobility, and in general solving real problems for people.
- And above all, you enjoy working collaboratively and lifting others up .

- Case Study: A short take-home exercise or live case to understand how you think, structure ideas, and approach real startup challenges.
- Second Interview with co-founder: Deep dive into your experience, your working style, and your potential role within Quotabus. We’ll also explore how we can support your growth.
