Project Engineer

For one of key clients who are world leaders in the Chemicals Manufacturing sector. Coalesce Management Consulting (CMC) is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the ongoing projects in our clients site in the Bologna area.

In this role, you will assist the on-site Project Managers/Engineers in successfully managing various brownfield projects on our clients facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and supporting smooth project execution.

Please note, this is a 6-month contract position, with high possibilities of extension based on project lifecycle and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the acquisition and management of permits for different projects.
• Oversee contractor activities, ensuring all work meets quality standards and adheres to regulatory requirements.
• Lead small-scale projects from initial concept through to completion.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals align with overall business objectives.
• Track project progress, identify potential challenges, and develop timely solutions.
• Maintain strict compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Prepare detailed project reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Good knowledge of safety and environmental regulations relevant to manufacturing.
• Ability to collaborate productively within a team.
• Fluency in English is essential.
