Medical Writer

MEDICAL WRITER (ENGLISH AND GERMAN SPEAKER)

Role

The Scientific Medical Writer will support the development of scientific content creation.

• Medical Information Support: Production of new global standard scientific response content (gSSRC)
• Publications Support: Production of abstracts, posters, manuscripts…
• Other scientific content: Scientific slide decks, Q&As, study summaries…

The Medical Writer will work under the guidance of Corporate Therapeutic Areas, ensuring content and timelines meet company standards and safeguarding processes and system standards.

Responsibilities

• Production of scientific content
• Update of existing content
• Adjust content according to feedback received during review cycles
• Obtain final approval from relevant stakeholders
• Perform peer reviews for style and accuracy to support continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience as a Medical Writer with a scientific background and a degree (PharmD, MD, PhD, or Masters), at least 2 years producing scientific content for Pharma or an agency
• Advance/bilingual proficiency in English and German
• Excellent medical writing skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple detailed activities and deliver results quickly and focused
• Good communication, coordination, and time‑management skills
• Fluent oral and written English with high communication level
• Desirable experience in writing and managing scientific publications (manuscripts, posters, abstracts, etc.)
• Prior experience in Cardiovascular, Metabolism, Respiratory (CMR), Inflammation, Immunology, Retinopathy, CNS, or Oncology therapeutic areas is advantageous
