We are looking for an Expeditor responsible for monitoring and managing the timely delivery of materials, equipment, services, and subcontracts to meet project requirements, while ensuring compliance with quality standards, schedules, and contractual terms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and follow up on procurement activities to ensure suppliers meet agreed delivery dates and contractual obligations.
- Collaborate closely with the Procurement team to identify and resolve any issues related to supplier delays or non-compliance.
- Maintain regular contact with suppliers to obtain up-to-date delivery status and proactively address potential delays or risks.
- Coordinate with internal departments to align on delivery schedules and project priorities.
- Provide regular progress reports and updates to project teams regarding delivery timelines and logistics.
- Support the management of changes to purchase orders or subcontracts when necessary.
- Ensure that all deliveries meet quality, HSE, and safety requirements before arrival on site.
- Monitor supplier performance and contribute to continuous improvement in delivery reliability.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in the role of Expeditor, preferably gained within structured industrial environments. Experience in sectors such as Oil & Gas, EPC, or Power Generation is considered a plus, but not essential.
- Solid understanding of expediting processes, including tracking orders, coordinating with suppliers, and managing delivery schedules.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work cross-functionally to resolve supply-related issues.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (JDE or SAP preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
