What is the role? We are currently hiring IoT Specialist with proven experience in the Internet of Things (IoT) field to lead the design and implementation of end-to-end IoT solutions, define the technical architecture and ensure effective integration of IoT solutions with existing systems for our client in the space sector. This role is based in Roma, Torino or L'Aquila. Key responsabilites and tasks for IoT Specialist Design end-to-end IoT architectures that meet current and future business requirements Create an interconnected network capable of connecting sensors, gateways, networks, software and interfaces Draft High Level Design and Low Level Design documentation of the proposed architectures Support the implementation of IoT solutions Define and implement security protocols to protect devices, data and communications Technical Skills Required • Knowledge of cloud technologies (PaaS/SaaS) and public and hybrid cloud architectures • Mastery of IoT sensors and the most popular communication protocols • Experience with API Management Platform and knowledge of API design and security • Expertise in SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) and microservices • Knowledge of networking, Edge Computing, Virtualization fundamentals Transversal Skills • Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Ability to quickly identify business opportunities and understand customer needs • Ability to problem-solve and work in multidisciplinary teams Requirements • At least 5-8 years of experience as an IT architect with at least 3 years of specific experience in IoT projects • Proven experience in designing and implementing IoT solutions • Experience in managing complex projects involving IoT, Asset Management, Big Data and CRM Why would you take the plunge?
