Trillium Pumps Italy is looking for Designer Engineer

Designer Horizontal/Vertical Pump reports to Pump Expert and Technical Supervisors and is responsible of the pump bill of material. He/She implements the product specification and Head of Technical Department’s guidelines in bare shaft pump design, ensuring that project targets are achieved.

Responsibilities:

Role tasks include but are not limited to:

- performs the assigned tasks ensuring the “On Time Delivery” targets;

- designs the bare shaft pump, makes 3D models, components drawings and creates bare shaft pump bill of material, following the design guidance of their Supervisors, internal product specifications, specific knowledge of pump design, engineering principles and best practices;

- he/she executes spreadsheet calculation for each specific project, when required makes basic FEM analysis and implements the results of the analysis made by the Technical Engineers and/or R&D;

- Helps his/her Supervisor in VA/VE on bare shaft pumps, finding pump design solutions to reduce waste and costs;

- contributes to define guidance on internal product specification, approved by the head of department;

- if required he/she takes the role of “Pump Technical Referent”, participating to technical meeting for product development and providing assistance to other departments for specific type of products;

- when required analyzes the NCR related to vertical/horizontal bare shaft pumps components and assemblies, giving feedback to Quality Department and Production;

- when required helps to train new employees;

- helps his/her Supervisor to improve efficiency of his/her tasks, suggesting/developing optimized design tools and processes.

Qualifications:

Degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering and preferably at least two years of experience in similar roles at EPS or skid manufacturer. Good knowledge of English language. Basic knowledge of PTC Creo Parametric, PTC Creo Simulate. Knowledge PLM systems, preferably Windchill. The knowledge of AVEVA E3D will be a preferential title.
