Global Tax Quality Review Program Leader
The Global Tax Quality Review Program Leader reports to the Global Tax Quality Leader and is expected to be a full‑time role. This is a unique opportunity to lead EY’s Tax Quality Review Program, a strategic initiative designed to enhance the quality, consistency, and compliance of tax services across global markets. The role offers exposure to a wide range of tax services, regulatory environments, and quality frameworks. You will collaborate with senior leaders across geographies to drive continuous improvement, support innovation in quality methodologies, and ensure alignment with EY’s global standards. This leadership role provides a platform to influence firm‑wide quality strategy, strengthen risk management practices, and contribute to the protection of EY’s brand and reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, execution, and evolution of the Tax Quality Review Program across tax services and regions.
- Collaborate with Global and Regional Tax Quality Leaders to define review scope, methodology, and performance metrics.
- Analyze review findings to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
- Inform the development of training, communications, and guidance to address quality gaps and promote best practices.
- Support the integration of technology and data analytics into the review process, including AI and AI‑enabled tools.
- Prepare executive‑level reporting and presentations for leadership and strategic decision‑making groups.
- Report to enable Regional Tax Quality to monitor progress and drive successful delivery of local programs.
- Liaise with Global Risk Management, GCO, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with firm policies and legal requirements.
- Contribute to broader quality initiatives and special projects within Global Tax Quality.
- Foster a culture of quality through leadership of a global network of Tax Quality professionals involved in the Tax Quality Review Program.
- Collaborate closely with the GDS TQR team to support and execute the Tax Quality Review program, including mentoring and coaching support.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- Undergraduate/University degree; advanced degree in Tax, Law, or Accounting preferred.
- 15+ years of relevant experience in tax services, quality, or risk management.
- Proven ability in the client environment, including significant experience in serving multinational engagements.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of EY’s Global organization, strategy, and culture.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decisions.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to effectively interact with, respond to and influence leaders at all levels.
- Able to balance the need to be approachable and supportive with the requirement to be resolute and resilient in challenging situations.
- High degree of professionalism and integrity.
- Flexibility to accommodate calls and meetings across time zones.
Ideally You’ll Also Have
- Experience and awareness of ethical and tax regulatory regimes or client‑facing tax experience.
- A strong existing network of contacts within EY, both within and beyond the Tax Service Line.
- The ability to be future‑focused, solutions‑oriented and adapt to new and developing areas (e.g., impact of AI) as the business evolves.

- Compensation: base salary range for the U.S. is $207,100–$410,100. Additional ranges for key locations are provided in the full offer package.
