Job Title: Financial Supervisor – Inovance Technology Italy

Location: Milano,Via Pisacane, 26 – 20016 Pero

Reports To: General Manager / Europe Finance Controller


Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Financial Supervisor to oversee the financial operations, accounting, budgeting, reporting, and compliance for our Italy subsidiary. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to drive financial performance while ensuring alignment with corporate goals and local regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) :

- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for the subsidiary.

- Analyze financial performance against budgets and KPIs; provide actionable insights to senior management.

- Support strategic decision-making through cost-benefit analysis and scenario planning.

  1. Accounting & Reporting:

- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AR/AP, payroll, and tax filings.

- Ensure accurate and timely monthly/quarterly financial reporting in compliance with IFRS/Italian GAAP.

- Coordinate with HQ and external auditors for group consolidation and statutory reporting.

  1. Compliance & Risk Management

- Ensure adherence to local tax laws, corporate regulations, and internal controls.

- Manage VAT, corporate tax, transfer pricing, and other statutory filings.

- Mitigate financial risks through proactive monitoring and process improvements.

  1. Cash Flow & Treasury

- Optimize cash flow management, liquidity planning, and working capital efficiency.

- Liaise with banks and financial institutions for financing, hedging, and treasury activities.

  1. Team Leadership

- Mentor and lead a small team of finance professionals (e.g., accountant).

- Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  1. Strategic Support:

- Partner with the General Manager to align financial strategies with business objectives.

- Evaluate investments, M&A opportunities, and market expansion initiatives.


Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field;

Certifications: CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.


Experience:

- 5+ years in finance/accounting roles.

- Experience in multinational corporations (preferably with Italian subsidiary exposure).

- Strong knowledge of Italian tax regulations, statutory reporting, and ERP systems (e.g.,Sage X3, SAP, Oracle).

- Languages: Fluency in English and Italian (written and spoken).


- Skills:

- Advanced Excel and financial modeling expertise.

- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
