We’re seeking a Director of Test Strategy & Toolchain Innovation to lead the transformation of our global testing infrastructure and strategy across the entire EV manufacturing lifecycle. In this pivotal leadership role, you’ll architect and own the end-to-end testing ecosystem—from component-level diagnostics to fully automated end-of-line (EOL) system validation.

This isn’t just about quality assurance. It’s about redefining how we build, validate, and scale next-generation electric mobility solutions—with speed, precision, and intelligence. You’ll sit at the intersection of software, systems, and production , collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Manufacturing leaders across Europe and beyond.

Your Mission

• Own and evolve our global test architecture and strategy across embedded systems, modules, and full vehicle platforms.
• Design a future-proof testing toolchain that supports product innovation, digital transformation, and high-volume production.
• Build and lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, defining test methodologies that mirror real-world user behavior .
• Introduce AI- and data-driven test automation , predictive diagnostics, and rapid failure analysis.
• Align test capabilities with evolving software architectures, embedded platforms, and manufacturing goals.
• Act as the executive point of contact for test strategy across internal functions and external partners.
• Champion innovation in validation—from simulation frameworks to end-of-line systems —ensuring scalability, reliability, and speed.

What You Bring

• 10+ years of experience in test strategy, embedded systems validation , or engineering leadership—ideally within automotive, EV, or high-tech manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams across software, systems, and hardware domains.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks , diagnostics, and simulation tools.
• Deep knowledge of operating systems like Linux, FreeRTOS , and scripting in Python, PowerShell , or similar.
• Familiarity with AI/ML-enabled test approaches and data-driven optimization is a major plus.
• Strong systems thinking—able to bridge the gap between technical depth and business impact.
• Track record of driving change, scalability, and innovation in complex engineering environments.
