Cloud DevOps Engineer (Proof of Concept) – Food & Beverage Sector
Role: Cloud DevOps Engineer
Workload: Full-time (short-term PoC)
Location: Remote from Italy
Language: English and Italian
Project Context
Our client in the Food & Beverage sector is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to support the implementation of a Proof of Concept (PoC) . The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) , automation, and provisioning, with a particular focus on Windows environments .
Main Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Cloud infrastructures using Terraform and IaC methodologies.
- Automate configuration and deployment processes with Ansible and Ansible Packer .
- Support migration, optimization, and management of resources in Windows environments .
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to define and execute the Proof of Concept .
- Ensure best practices for security , scalability , and resilience in the infrastructure.
Technical Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of Terraform and principles of Infrastructure as Code .
- Solid experience with Ansible and Ansible Packer .
- Strong background in Windows environments (servers, services, automation).
- Familiarity with key DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, Git versioning).
- Experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently on short-term projects (PoC).
- Strong problem-solving attitude , results orientation, and excellent communication skills.
