Role Description

This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Cost Accountant based in Bologna. The Cost Accountant will handle day‑to‑day tasks such as analyzing financial data to determine cost structures, preparing detailed cost analyses, ensuring accurate and timely journal entries, and contributing to monthly financial statements. Collaborating closely with the finance team, the candidate will optimize cost control processes and enhance financial reporting to support business decisions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Cost Accounting and preparation of Financial Statements
• Strong Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data and identifying cost efficiencies
• Experience in creating and managing Journal Entries within an accounting framework
• Solid foundation in Finance principles and related processes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools; ERP system experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar cost‑driven environment is beneficial
