Overview

We are looking for 3 Contract Managers to support the Business Transformers unit across various European locations, providing professional legal and contractual advice.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Hub Transformers Contract Management to align on strategy, implement guidelines, and maintain common tools and templates.
  • Support the sales team in risk reviews: draft, negotiate, and finalize agreements during sales phases with local legal support as needed.
  • Identify and document contract baselines including terms, conditions, specifications, drawings, estimates, and schedules.
  • Defend Hitachi Energy’s contractual interests against customers and suppliers throughout project life cycle, including monitoring changes and litigation.
  • Ensure timely execution of commercial aspects such as payments, claims, variation orders, warranties, and guarantees.
  • Apply standard change management methodologies to quantify additional time and compensation.
  • Collaborate with Project Management during execution to develop risk mitigation and opportunity plans.

Your Background

  • Law degree or related Master qualification.
  • At least 5 years of contract‑management experience, from tendering to execution.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and regional regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Proven project leadership and cross‑functional team management.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
