Randstad Digital Talent Services, a division specialized in the recruitment, selection, and training of ICT professionals, is looking on behalf of an international Software House - a leading Company in the development of intelligent AI-based medical devices - for a:


Senior AI Engineer / Computer Vision Scientist


The selected candidate will join a team of senior professionals with proven experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.

The ideal profile combines a strong scientific background with an engineering mindset, capable of bridging advanced research and practical application.

This is a role for someone driven by technological innovation, eager to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, and motivated to see their work evolve into real clinical solutions that improve patients’ lives.


Main Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Deep Learning models for real-time analysis of endoscopic videos (detection, segmentation, tracking, classification)
  • Plan and conduct rigorous experiments, defining validation protocols on large-scale video datasets
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (AI scientists, software and hardware engineers, medical professionals) to integrate AI solutions into existing medical devices
  • Document results, analyses, and experiments through technical reports, presentations, and scientific publications
  • Ensure code quality and reproducibility through reviews, best practices, and version control (GitHub/GitLab)
  • Contribute to the scientific growth of the team by staying updated on the latest techniques in computer vision and medical imaging


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • PhD strongly preferred, particularly in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or Medical Imaging
  • 5+ years of experience in Deep Learning and Computer Vision, gained in academic or industrial environments
  • Proven experience with object detection, image/video segmentation, tracking, and classification tasks
  • Excellent command of Python and PyTorch; familiarity with software engineering practices (Git/GitLab, code review)
  • Documented track record of scientific publications, patents, or contributions to public repositories
  • Fluent English (C1 level), both written and spoken


Nice to Have

  • Experience with medical image or video analysis.
  • Knowledge of transformer-based architectures for vision and video understanding
  • Experience with self-supervised learning or large-scale distributed training
  • Understanding of 3D reconstruction, depth estimation, or geometric analysis from monocular video
  • Participation in scientific conferences or publications (CVPR, ICCV, MICCAI)
