COMMISSIONING AND START-UP MANAGER Location : Ostiglia Power Plant – Mantua, Italy
Responsibilities : Develop and update the
Commissioning Schedule , with the support of the Planner, optimizing start-up sequences, minimizing work overlaps, and defining intervention priorities. Ensure that all start-up activities on site are carried out in compliance with the
Site Safety Program , defining and/or implementing Risk Assessments/Method Statements (RA/MSs). Verify that work phases are efficiently and effectively scheduled, with adequate manpower and equipment, both in quantity and quality. Ensure that commissioning personnel have valid and approved authorizations and documentation necessary to carry out the activities in line with the project schedule. Report
Non-Conformities
to the Site Manager and QA/QC Manager. Report any operational deviations to the
Project Commissioning Manager
and to site/home office engineering. Coordinate discipline supervisors until the plant is handed over to the Client. Manage the
Permit-to-Work
procedure. Ensure that
punch list items
are closed out satisfactorily and in accordance with the project timeline. Prepare the relevant sections of the
Monthly/Weekly Progress Report .
Minimum Requirements : Education : Technical high school diploma, preferably with an industrial focus. Languages : Fluent in
Italian and English , both spoken and written. Experience : At least
10 years of international experience
as a Commissioning Manager on industrial construction sites, preferably with a
Main EPC Contractor
in the construction of
CCGT
and/or
EfW
plants with electrical output above
70 MWe .
