Aboutthe Role
- Full-time,ongoing position
Alongsidethe Co-Directors of Curriculum and Community – BlairholmeELC, the Co-Director of Operations will be responsible for theeffective management of Blairholme Early Learning Centre, ensuringthe highest standards in educational quality, staff leadership,compliance, and wellbeing. This role assumes responsibility foreducational outcomes and the day-to-day running of the Centre. Youwill create an environment where children are empowered to explore,collaborate, and express their understanding through aReggio Emilia -inspired approach.
Responsibilitiesinclude:
- Provideeducational and operational leadership aligned withLauriston’s strategic vision.
- Builda culture of reflection, collaboration, and continuousimprovement.
- Supportand mentor educators and co-educators in child-centredpractice.
- Overseecompliance with the National Quality Framework, Early YearsLearning Framework and relevant legislation.
- Fosterpositive relationships with families, staff, and the broaderLauriston community.
- Promotea culture of child safety and wellbeing in line with theSchool’s values and obligations.
AboutYou
You are aninspiring and organised educational leader who thrives on fosteringhigh-quality practice in early learning settings. You willbring:
- ABachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or equivalentqualification.
- Provenleadership experience within an early childhood or school-based early learning environment.
- Strongknowledge of the National Quality Framework, Early YearsLearning Framework, and Reggio Emilia philosophy.
- Excellentcommunication and relationship-building skills.
- Acommitment to Lauriston’s values ofRelationships, Courage, Creativity, IntellectualCuriosity, and Engagement inLife .
