CNC Mazatrol Programmer/Machine Operator

Davies Company has been manufacturing our own line of retention knobs. All manufacturing is done in our plant located in Mantua, Ohio. Our retention knobs are known throughout the industry as second-to-none, and they can be easily recognized in their famous blue tubes. T J Davies Company is currently looking for a motivated CNC Mazatrol Program/Set-Up Machine Operator. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day programming and operating of several machines.

Responsibilities

How You Will Impact Our Organization

• Develop programs for machines in Fanuc and Mazatrol
• Write and/or edit programs, troubleshoot CNC production issues, and provide technical advice for machine setup.
• Prepare work instructions for machine set‑up and operations.
• Efficiently set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning etc.
• Ensure the proper tooling and computer programs are installed for jobs.
• Monitor CNC machine during production run and adjust programs as necessary.
• Calculate machine speed and feed ratio and the size and position of cuts.
• Use precision measuring instruments and hand tools to verify conformance of finished work pieces to specifications.
• Prioritize work according to leads instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
