BOUTIQUE DIRECTOR – TORINO FASHION BOUTIQUE

CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT: CHANEL boutiques are the heart of the brand’s progressive vision of style and beauty. The Fashion Boutique Director plays a pivotal role in conveying the CHANEL aesthetic each season, ensuring that every client experiences a journey that both delights and inspires. In this location, a significant proportion of our clientele is local. Therefore, strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential to build lasting relationships and deliver a personalized service tailored to the clients.
The Fashion Boutique Director should demonstrate a deep understanding of the local market and be able to adapt CHANEL’s values and standards to meet its unique needs. Galvanizing sales growth and driving efficiencies, the Fashion Boutique Director inspires all elements of the Boutique teams to embody CHANEL’s vital behaviors, laying the foundation for the leaders of tomorrow. As an integral member of the Fashion Boutique Directors community, the Fashion Boutique Director contributes actively to the Fashion Europe Strategic Vision, shaping the future of CHANEL both locally and across the region.

Driving Dynamic Growth and Innovative Efficiencies

  • Driving the yearly Boutique roadmap and addressing the Boutique business challenges aligned with the House Strategy.
  • Implementing the Fashion Europe operational strategy.
  • Leading and coordinating all Boutique activities in line with the strategy and objectives and communicating these to the teams.
  • Controlling, monitoring, and sharing commercial, client, financial and budgetary indicators relating to the results of the Boutique and overseeing reporting.
  • Developing and coordinating sales to achieve commercial and client objectives within the budget and action plan.
  • Ensuring efficient stock management and the application of control procedures to anticipate and limit discrepancies.
  • Responsibility for the application of the Boutique Charter and Boutique procedures.

Amplifying Brand Performance

  • Capturing the essence of each collection and conveying it in the buying assortment, according to budget and guidelines.
  • Ensuring the consistency of the product assortment with the Boutique Buying Strategy.
  • Increasing the aesthetic desirability of the Boutique with inspirational Visual Merchandising, driven by a close collaboration between VM, front- and back-office teams.
  • Taking an ambassadorial role by embodying CHANEL’s aesthetic, both internally and externally.

Client Engagement

  • Ensuring excellent client service according to the House standards, while creating a unique experience for each client.
  • Developing the Client Strategy with the Client Engagement plan.
  • Inspiring the team with a dynamic approach to clienteling, using in-person and digital tools to transform the client database into a thriving foundation for deep, authentic, and growing client relationships, while respecting CHANEL’s spirit of elegance and discretion.
  • Utilizing marketing, events, and services to develop and deepen client journeys; monitoring and responding to the results of these actions.

Key Competencies & Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for managing the local clientele.
  • At least 4–5 years of experience as a Boutique Director or in a similar leadership role.
  • Excellent spoken and written Italian language skills are mandatory.
  • Fluent spoken and written English is required; French language skills are a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, foster collaboration, and drive business results.
  • Experience in delivering outstanding client service and building long-term client relationships.
