Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Clerk

At our offices in San Marco Evangelista (Caserta, Italy ) we are currently seeking for a dynamic and talented Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Clerk .

Main objective

The role carries out accounts receivable and accounts payable activities to ensure smooth running of invoicing and payment activities.

Key responsibilities

• General accounting
• Invoicing activity
• Checking invoices and shipments
• Execution of bank payments and transfers
• Salary payments
• Other tasks as deemed necessary to support the Finance & Administration department

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience working in the accounts receivable and accounts payable domain, in the parcels/groupage/pallets/express transport sector
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and practice

Skills & Competencies

• Strong MS Excel skills
• English intermediate (level B1 in the CEFR scale); Italian native or bilingual.
• Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Must have a flexible approach to work and be capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive approach
• Solid interpersonal communication and intercultural skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and to work with and empathise with colleagues and customers from varied backgrounds and cultures.
• A previous exposure to the pharmaceutical sector is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or equivalent work experience
